ClearlyEnergy uses its skills and capabilities with software development, energy modeling, stakeholder engagement, training, research and analysis, program management, and technical assistance to support states, jurisdictions, and organizations in their targeted energy efficiency projects and policy development and implementation. Examples of specific projects include supporting West Virginia in the creation of an inter-agency energy and water use data communication tool; supporting Cambridge, MA in tracking building compliance towards their goal of achieving carbon neutrality in buildings; developing and maintaining, for Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP), the Home Energy Labeling Information eXchange (HELIX) database that populates real estate listings with home energy information; developing the software for NEEP’s Cold Climate Air Source Heat Pump List (ASHP) and supplemental sizing and visualization tools; and providing energy burden analyses and greenhouse gas disclosure to financial institutions to support residential loans.
