Over two-dozen manufacturers of leading high-performing cold climate ASHPs have chosen to list their products on NEEP's Cold Climate Air Source Heat Pump List.

Since 2015, ClearlyEnergy has been the software developer for the Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships’ (NEEP)'s Cold Climate Air Source Heat Pump List (ASHP) and supplemental sizing and visualization tools.

The list highlights air source heat pumps appropriate for cold climate applications to accelerate efficiency and electrification in homes and buildings. The current list includes over 100,000 products from more than 100 leading brands and is used broadly by incentive programs, contractors, and consumers. The list’s heat pump sizing tool provides guidance to the DOE’s Pacific Northwest National Lab, state programs, installers and homeowners to right-size systems and minimize installation costs.

The database ClearlyEnergy created includes user login requirements, page level permissions, targeted system integrations, searchable, sortable list views, detailed page views, automated parameter validation and calculations, and more. ClearlyEnergy has continued to maintain and support the database and provide further product development at the request of NEEP.
