  5. ClearlyEnergy collects and stores your home energy information in a secure, password-enabled account. Generating a profile requires your home’s address or parcel ID, year built, and size. All additional fields in a Home Energy Profile are voluntary, but additional parameters create a more accurate estimate. ClearlyEnergy software uses your inputs to customize an Energy Profile label. Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP) owns and manages the Home Energy Information Labeling eXchange (HELIX), a central repository for home energy labels where Home Energy Profiles, including the Vermont Home Energy Profile, are stored. Only final labels are stored in HELIX; all information entered on the web platform remains in your ClearlyEnergy account. The label is only shared with real estate multiple listing services if you leave the final authorization box unchecked or if required by law. By providing this information, you are authorizing ClearlyEnergy and NEEP to collect and store that information, and are telling us that this information is true, accurate and current and that you have the authorization to provide us with that information.
